You have to serve better food and have a full bar in the exhibit hall to draw in the retailers. There also needs to be longer exhibit hall hours when there are no meetings going on. This is the only way you are going to attract more retailers into exhibit hall and keep the exhibitors coming back!

  2. Phil Sykes Says:

It may be a good idea to have the exhibit hall and the sessions on the same level or in close proximity. Having the sessions two flights up from the exhibit floor disconnects the event. It may also be more productive to schedule the sessions in the morning and exhibits in the afternoon so as not to compete for retailers’ time.

I was unable to attend the NRF and I would like to get an up dated list of all LP executive for all major retail companies. Is this possable? thank you

Traveliing over from the United kingdom I was unsure how much value I would get out from this event but was looking forward it. The truth is I found this event to be a hugh benifit from both a business perspective and from a personal developement opportunity. I got to see and learn from other large retailers as well as share our ideas and opportunities with key loss prevention leaders. All this in a well constructed & planned event. Definatly one of the better loss prevention conferences that I have attended over the years.

Hi Mike, I agree it was a great conference, i’ve just booked on to attend the BRC conference in London which isn’t quite as far for us UK loss professionals!
